What is the spongey side of the sponge made from?

The yellow, spongey side is made from 100% tree cellulose, fully plant-based just like the rest of the sponge 🙂

What is the brown, scrubby side made from?

The brown, scrubby side is made from 100% coconut husks, and is also fully plant-based. It’s that simple!

How long does each sponge last?

bioGo sponges tend to last at least 20% longer than normal plastic sponges. If you’d like to stretch the life of each sponge further, simply put them in the washing machine to give them a new lease of life!

Is there any plastic in the packaging?

Nope! The packaging is made entirely from recyclable cardboard and has no nasty surprises in terms of plastic bags, covers, or anything like that.

Are bioGo sponge hygienic?

Moreso than the traditional ones. Due to the porous nature of the tree cellulose material, they are quick drying and therefore more hygienic! Many alternative sponges stay moist for longer and that means bacteria builds up much faster.
